Kathgodam is the nearest rail head that is well connected to Delhi (overnight journey) and other major cities. The fastest, easiest albeit a bit more expensive way to go to Binsar is to take a cab from Kathgodam. Alternatively, you could take a local bus or shared cab to Almora and then hire a cab from there to take you to the wildlife sanctuary.

Direct Delhi to Binsar flights is not available as Binsar lacks an airport. So Delhi to Binsar flight travel is not possible, but a flight can be taken from Delhi to Pantnagar. Direct Delhi to Binsar bus service is not available, but Binsar can be reached by taking a bus and then a cab. Buses can be taken from Delhi to Nainital. The travel by bus in this route takes time of about 9 hours and 15 minutes. The price for the bus for one way varies from INR 550 to INR 750 depending upon the type of service. From Nainital, cabs are always available for hire to reach Binsar. This travel will take around 2 hours and 15 minutes as a distance of 110 km has to be covered from Nainital to Binsar. The total cab fare will range from INR 3100 to INR 3700 depending upon the type of cab and service.
